Over the past week, Republican Activists across Ireland have taken part in coordinated activism against the ongoing internment and extradition of Irish Republicans.
AIA members in all four provinces have been on the streets, engaging with the public and highlighting the campaign. The following is a report from the activism across the country.
Derry, Occupied Ireland

Republicans in Derry Occupied Ireland held a banner drop at the Free Derry Wall as well as distributing anti Internment and Extradition leaflets in the Republican Bogside.
Dublin
(Leinster)
Ballyfermot
Republicans in Ballyfermot were out on the streets campaigning against the Extradition of Seán Walsh and all Irish Republicans. Ballyfermot has been a historical stronghold of Irish Republicanism and the area has always strongly supported Republican POWs.
Coolock
Republican Activists in Coolock are engaged in a slogan writing campaign against the Extradition of All Irish Republicans. While the mainstream corporate media has a blackout of Republican issues, AIA activists in the community, which has a strong history of support for Irish Republicanism, are taking the message directly to the people.
Fairview
Republican Activists in the North Inner City held a banner drop against the Extradition of All Irish Republicans, engaging with passersby to explain the campaign against the internment and Extradition of Irish Republicans.
Tallaght
Republican Activists in Tallaght were on the streets building support for the campaign against the Extradition of Seán Walsh and all Irish Republicans. Tallaght has a proud Republican history and a number current Republican POWs are from the community.
Galway
(Connaught)
Republican Activists in Galway took a number of actions as part of the coordinated campaign against the Internment and Extradition of Irish Republicans.
These included postering, slogan writing and distributing leaflets to the public to build awareness and support for the campaign.
Waterford
(Munster)
Republican Activists in Waterford were active building awareness and support for the campaign distributing leaflets and erecting posters against Internment and he Extradition of Seán Walsh and all Irish Republicans.
In the coming weeks Anti Imperialist Action Ireland will continue to campaign against the Internment and Extradition of Irish Republicans and stand in solidarity with all Irish Republican POWs.
