AIA members took to the streets of Dundalk yesterday along with other Republicans and Anti Fascists to send a clear message to the far right agitators who are intent on sowing hate and division within the town.
The demonstration, which vastly outnumbered the fascist mob, successfully prevented the far right agitators from holding their rally at their planned spot, then having to be escorted out of the area by the Public order unit.
The fascists, holding banners paid for with dirty money provided by the foreign sex-trafficker Tristan Tate swiftly exited the area when confronted by the local people of Dundalk. This comes after the shameful scenes displayed by that same mob on Saturday, when they stood shoulder to shoulder with the UVF/UDA, the same UVF who murdered two people in Dundalk during their British Imperialist directed bombing campaign in 1975.
Anti Imperialist action Ireland is unrepentantly Socialist Republican and Anti Fascist. We call on all groups and like minded people who share those same principles to work together in defence of the working people of this country and against the far right.
