🟢⚫️ Today, a number of republican activists from all over Ireland as far as Dublin, Galway and Limerick joined the national protest against the presence of NATO at Shannon airport.
The Republican Bloc joined a crowd of several thousand people from across Ireland to block a number of roundabouts around the airport to block it’s infrastructure for the day.
The protesters were confronted by a large amount of Gardai, POU and Special Branch who could not resist harassing the Republican Activists.
Despite intimidation attempts the activists managed to display a staunch display that no NATO power should have a place in Ireland, especially in using the airport in Shannon for the genocidal attacks in Palestine and Lebanon.
Britain, a NATO member, still occupies six counties in Ireland and the Free State is collaborating with the occupation, NATO and the genocide in Palestine. This was further highlighted by brutal approach by the gardai, harassing activists, dragging protesters around and trying to record everyone’s face.
Republicans remain committed to stand against the Occupation of Ireland, against the genocide in Palestine and Lebanon and against any Irish traitors and collaborators enabling it in our country.
