Successful Anti Fascist Action in Dundalk

Last Sunday, October 13th, Republican activists were involved in successful anti fascist work in Dundalk, County Louth.

The organisers of the fascist event eventually had to call off their proposed rally due to an action which cleared the town centre of the fascist threat.

Local activists remained at the town square until the situation ended as fascist organisers drowned their sorrows in a local pub as the Garda POU sat outside watchfully to prevent any further anti fascist action.

We commend all local people who made themselves available to protect the town from falling prey to a travelling band of Fascists, nazis and drug dealers. AIA will continue to work in Dundalk to build our presence and continue our work towards a 32 County Socialist Republic.
