The High Court in Dublin is intending to order the Extradition of Irish Republican Liam Campbell to Lithuania where he is wanted on international weapons trafficking charges.
These scurrilous charges are cloaked in the hidden hands of British Military Inteligence.
Liam Campbell was arrested in Co Louth on December 2, 2016, on foot of a European Arrest Warrant (EAW) issued by Lithuanian authorities.
It is alleged that in 2006/07 Liam was involved in the organisation of smuggling weapons in to Ireland to contiue the fight against British military aggression in Occupied Ireland.
Liam Campbell’s legal team have objected to his surrender based on the length of time he had been subject to the warrant and have argued that he could be subjected to “inhuman or degrading treatment” in a Lithuanian prison cell.
In a judgment returned yesterday Free State Judge – Aileen Donnelly, said she was satisfied that an order for the surrender of Campbell may be made.
Donnelly said she would formally make the order for the Extradition when Liam Campbell next appears in before the High Court on July 13.
