December is the month for highlighting that there are still Republican Prisoners of War in Gaols across Ireland for their opposition to the illegal British Occupation and Partition of our Country.
Men and women who would never have ended up in a cell but for the ongoing Imperialist interference in Ireland and that they took a courageous decision to resist it.
Being an Irish Republican is not a crime!
Many of these Republican activists are in fact interned by way of Special non jury courts or MI5 stings were no evidence or ‘Belief’ evidence is presented to lock up Revolutionaries for several years at a time.
Anti Imperialist Action Ireland this December, once again calls for the release of All Irish Republican Prisoners of War and for the abolition of special non jury courts in Ireland.
We further call on People who support the Republican cause in Ireland and around the world to write to the POWs this December, a simple card or letter to show your support for Political POWs.
We send our solidarity to all Irish POWs and to the welfare organisations that work tirelessly throughout the year to support the prisoners.
