A poem by a Macradh activist highlighting the atrocities committed by the British army here in Ireland
Britain’s “justice”
You came here in your war tanks
To bring your so called peace
Yet you murdered our civilians
And drag their bodies across the streets
Ballymurphy
Springhill
Bloody Sunday
The list goes on and on
Every day you spend in Ireland you commit another wrong
You say your sorry that it was all an accident
Yet you still blame the IRA
Upon thousands you’ve brought suffering
Do they not deserve justice today?
Each time your soldiers set out to destroy
Your generals told another lie
No soldiers jailed for their crimes
Justice denied hundreds of times
One day the truth will be set free
When Ireland has peace and liberty
When the crown finally goes home
The truth will then be known.
