The history of fascism and anti-fascism in Yugoslavia and Ukraine

We interviewed historian Barry Lituchy about the legacy and context of fascism in two European nations infamous for it: Ukraine and Yugoslavia.

Barry Lituchy helps to run a historical research institute focused on the Croatian death camp Jasenovac and is a historian and professor as well as being of Ukrainian & Yugoslav heritage.

As well as discussing fascism in these countries, we also spoke about their defeat: fascism in Ukraine and Yugoslavia was perpetrated by adherents in the 10s or 100s of thousands supported by foreign Imperialism, but it was defeated by Ukrainian and Yugoslav patriots in the millions who crushed them and sent them fleeing to Western masters.

We hope that this provides some interesting grounding information.
