Anti Imperialist Action Ireland strongly condemns the Zionist acts of terrorism in Al-Dahiye, Southern Beirut, Lebanon today. With the Palestinian Resistance and the whole Palestinian people at home and abroad we mourn the Martyrdom of Saleh Al-Arouri, the Deputy Head of the political bureau of Hamas and a founding member and leader of the Martyr Izz El-Din Al-Qassam Brigades and his comrades today.
We further extend our solidarity to Hezbollah and the people of Lebanon in the face of ongoing Zionist terrorist attacks on their country for their steadfast defence of the Palestinian People and Nation. We stand with you in the face of Zionist and imperialist attack.
The Zionist act of terror today shows the desperation of the settler colonialists. Since the beginning of the heroic Al-Aqsa Flood, despite a genocidal campaign against the Palestinian people, the Zionists and Imperialists have failed to achieve any of their military or political objectives, while the Resistance stands strong and united and has inflicted heavy military damage against the forces of occupation, humiliating Zionism and Imperialism in Palestine.
With the Zionist ‘ground war’ all but defeated in Gaza, the war criminals have turned to acts of terrorism in a desperate attempt to save face with their own settler colonialist population. But as the war since October 7 has demonstrated, Zionism is ‘weaker then a spider’s web’ and its days in Palestine and the Middle East are numbered.
Today’s attack on Lebanon is a serious escalation of Zionist terrorism. Anti Imperialist Action Ireland reissue our demand that the terrorist ambassador be expelled from Ireland and its embassy closed for good. We call on all supporters of Palestine in Ireland to unite behind the call to expel the Zionist ambassador as a very real and achievable way that the Irish People can demonstrate support and solidarity with the Palestinian People and Resistance.
