British Imperialism is a key backer of “Israel”, and it can be little surprise for Republicans that its administration in Stormont follows suit. As long as Britain occupies six Irish counties, Ireland will be dragged into its war machine.
For former Republicans Sinn Féin, the reality of partition is not confronted in their hollow solidarity with Palestine. The usage of Shannon Airport by NATO is postured against, but the use of Aldergrove goes unchallenged. While pushing for the Occupied Territories Bill in the 26 counties, SF opposes even narrow symbolic action in the 6 counties in order to appease Loyalism and Imperialism.
