Palestine Will Never Stand Alone!

Since October 7, led by the Joint Operations Room and primarily Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the United Palestinian Resistance has been demonstrating before the world in the most heroic and steadfast ways, what Resistance movements can accomplish when united and working with a clear revolutionary strategy and tactics towards National Liberation.

The Al-Aqsa Flood has united all resistance factions into a strong force for National Liberation, demonstrating in real time the Marxist position that the United Front is one of the 3 magic weapons for a successful revolution.

The war for National Liberation in Palestine is a war of the whole people who are united behind the resistance against Zionism, Imperialism and the quislings in the PA, now widely called the non Palestinian Authority.

Despite this, one of the key propaganda objectives of Zionism, backed by US and British imperialism since October 7 is to portray the Palestinian Resistance as isolated and unsupported. Media outlets in the west present the Zionist view of the war without question and censor the voice of Palestinians. Worse, western media aim to suppress news of the heroic Palestinian Resistance and the military actions they are taking to confront Zionism and Imperialism. But even the most cursory investigation of this demonstrates that the Resistance is well supported around the world and that Palestine will never stand alone.

International solidarity has been of key importance since the beginning of the Al Aqsa Flood. In Ireland the overwhelming majority of our people stand firmly with Palestine. The Al-Aqsa flood has led to the establishment of a new, Pro Resistance Palestinian Solidarity organisation, Saoirse Don Phalaistín, firmly committed to direct action, that is now playing a leading role in Palestinian Solidarity in Ireland.

In the imperialist cores of Britain and the US who are massively complicit in the ongoing Zionist Genocide there have been mass protests of hundreds of thousands standing for Palestine. The emergence of the direct action group Palestine Action in both Britain and the US is further evidence of how supporters of Palestine around the world are coming to the understanding that only revolutionary action a can achieve the goals of the solidarity movement. AIA also takes this opportunity to extend our solidarity and support to Palestine Action.

In Germany, Palestinian Solidarity has been deemed such a threat that their has been a massive wave of repression and a crackdown on Palestinian Solidarity Activists including the outlawing of Samidoun- the Palestinian Prisoners Network, throughout the German state. Despite the wave of repression, our comrades in the newly formed solidarity group Saor Éire Anois have also been active in Palestinian Solidarity in Germany, addressing rallies, attending marches and organising banner drops. We take this opportunity to extend our solidarity and support to Samidoun, Saor Éire Anois and all Palestinian and solidarity activists facing repression in Germany.

While this solidarity is of key importance, it is the solidarity being demonstrated in the Arab world that is a real threat to the very future of Zionism.

More and more since October 7 the Al-Aqsa flood is becoming a war of the Arab people against Zionism and Imperialism. Military operations against the Zionists and their imperialist masters are not confined to the borders of Palestine.

Since October 7, there has been a clear emergence of an Anti Imperialist, Pan-Arabism, with a real commitment to liberate Palestine and the Arab countries from the oppression of Zionism and Imperialism.

It is important that all who support the Palestinian Resistance are aware of the forces involved in this emerging anti imperialist axis of resistance that are taking military action in support of Palestine and also give them support in there defence of Palestine.

Hezbollah

Arguably, the most important supporter of the Palestinian Resistance is Hezbollah, described by military experts as the strongest non state military force in the world. Capably led by their general secretary’,Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah are based in neighbouring Lebanon with a strategic border with Palestine and a firm commitment to the destruction of Zionism.the northern border had long been used by the resistance to launch operations against Zionism.

As outlined by Nasrallah in a recent speech, while the Al-Aqsa flood is an initiative of the Palestinian Resistance alone, Hezbollah joined the war on October 8, and since that day have lost scores of fighters, martyred in the cause of Palestinian Liberation.

The strategy of Hezbollah has been to launch operations against Zionist Military installations and soldiers in northern Palestine, tying them down in the region to alliviate some of the pressure on the West Bank and Gaza. (This strategy was also commonly used by the IRA when one operational area was coming in for close attention from the Brits)

Judging by the Zionist reaction, this strategy is working. Zionist soldiers and settlers are being killed in their dozens by Hezbollah operations within Palestine. The fascist entity, under severe pressure, is threatening to open another front of the war in South Lebanon, with the aim of engaging Hezbollah and its allies in a full scale war. The Zionists are also calling for a militarised buffer zone between Palestine and Lebanon policed by US imperialist troops on the southern side and French imperialist troops on the northern side. Such a proposal is delusional and will never be accepted by the Palestinian or Lebanese people.

The strategy of Nasrallah and Hezbollah can theirfore be seen. Draw the Zionists in, provoke them and make them open a second front that they can’t win. One thing is certain. When the Al-Aqsa Flood is successful, Hezbollah will have played a key role in that victory along side Palestinian Resistance.

The Al-Aqsa Fllod has demonstrated, in the words of Hassan Nasrallah that the Zionist Entity is ‘weaker then a spiders web!’

Ansar Allah

One of the key developments in this war and in Palestinian Solidarity internationally, has been the entry of Ansar Allah, the Yemeni Armed Forces, into the war. Based in Yemen and popularly known as the Houthis, Ansar Allah are taking advantage of their strategic location in the Red Sea and are teaching the Zionists and international Imperialism a lesson in Revolutionary warfare in support of Palestine.

Led by Abu Jibril, (Abdul-Malik Badruldeen al-Houthi) Ansar Allah have launched a series of missile salvos and drone operations against the Zionist Entity, targeting in particular the southern city of “Eilat”, comfortably with range of Yemeni missiles and drones.

Ansar Allah have just led the Yemeni people through 8 years of war against a Saudi led coalition backed by US and British Imperialism, that included the direct involvement of imperialist special forces, yet the Houthis could not be beaten. During the course of that war in which saw an imperialist genocide against the Yemeni People, Ansar Allah have demonstrated themselves as a very capable military force with the popular support of the People.

During the course of the war, AIA organised regular solidarity protests in support of the People of Yemen and we continue to stand with them now as they take such inspiring action against Zionism and Imperialism in support of Palestine.

At the time of writing, Ansar Allah are in de facto control of the Red Sea and have achieved massive victory in preventing ships from reaching the Zionist entity. The alternative route for ships, going around Africa takes 3 weeks longer and is significantly more expensive, hitting Zionism and imperialism directly were it hurts, in there pockets. As a result of the Yemeni Military operations in the Red Sea 3 of the worlds biggest and leading shipping companies and the largest Zionist shipping company, have announced that they are pulling their operations from the Red Sea for the foreseeable future.

As a result of the effectiveness of Ansar Allah in their Military Operations in support of Palestine, US and British Imperialism are now threatening to launch attacks on Yemen in order to take control of the Red Sea. All Anti Imperialists and All supporters of Palestine must be ready to take a stand with Ansar Allah and the Yemeni People against attack and invasion.

Islamic Resistance in Iraq

Since October 17, the Hezbollah linked Islamic Resistance in Iraq, has entered the war for a free Palestine. The umbrella group combining a number of resistance forces based in Iraq have been responsible for military operations targeting US Imperialist in both Iraq and neighbouring Syria.

IRI attacks usually take the format of drone, missile and rocket attacks against American bases in a show of real solidarity with Palestine but also as an action designed against the lingering imperialist occupation forces in Iraq and Syria.

The IRI have been steadily increasing their operations since entering the war on October 17 and has been very clear their will be no ceasefire by their forces until the Zionist Genocide against the Palestinian People has ended.

Syria and Iran

The sovereign nations of Syria and Iran are strong supporters of Palestine and are also playing a key role in support of the Resistance. As the war in Palestine continues, and threatens to turn into a regional war, Syria and Iran are only too aware that they are a key target of US and British Imperialism.

Anti Imperialism Pan Arabism

So while the Zionists and western imperialism want to portray Palestinian and the Resistance as isolated, the truth is that the Al- Aqsa flood and the current war in Palestine has led to the strengthening of an anti imperialist pan Arabism centred on the axis of Resistance.

The war is not confined to Palestine. While the Zionists can count on the support of US, British and EU Imperialists, Palestine can count on the support of the people of the world and in particular their Arab brothers from Hezbollah, Ansar Allah, Islamic Resistance in Iraq, and the sovereign nations Syria and Iran.

Lessons for Ireland

There is much that serious Irish Republicans can learn from the emerging anti-Imperialism, not least the importance of a United Front of Resistance with a joint operations room with common principles, strategy and tactics, that also allows each resistance faction maintain theorem independence and autonomy.

A further lesson is developing and maintaining mural solidarity bonds with Resistance struggles and movements in neighbouring countries. In Ireland, this could include a return to the anti imperialist cooperation of the Celtic Countries against British and European Imperialism. Like the Arab Revolutionaries, anti imperialists in Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Isle of Man, Cornwall and Brittany have common enemies and as such a common cause against imperialism. It would also mean the Resistance movement in Ireland developing strong links with other oppressed nations in Europe such as the Basque Country, Corsica, and Catalonia among others.

Anti Imperialist Action Ireland extends our full solidarity to all the forces who are taking action in support of Palestine in against Zionism and Imperialism. Your actions are inspiring revolutionaries and anti Imperialists around the world. For our part we remain committed to doing what we can to support the Palestinian Resistance and to push the Revolutionary Line within the solidarity movement in Ireland.

From Ireland to Palestine- One Struggle Against Imperialism!

Victory to the Resistance!
Free Palestine!

One reply on “Palestine Will Never Stand Alone!”

A great lesson in putting aside temporarily lesser contradictions, i.e between Islamicist fundamentalism and socialism, in the struggle against imperialism. History shows however that the socialist parts of this partnership need to maintain strong organisational security and independence with a view to the longer term.

In the EU the national question of weaker nations oppressed by states poses a strong challenge to the imperialist hegemony as pointed out in the article. The weakest link of all among the mainland EU states must be the Spanish state: 1) it has within its borders four other historical nations with degrees of national consciousness and their own languages and 2) its “democratic” mechanisms and administration are weak after a fascist war and 40 years of fascist dictatorship with which it has never come to terms.
